Synopsis
"Dog Island" merges the narratives, myths, embellishments, and rumors about two similar islands in Istanbul and Karachi, where wild dogs were exiled in the early 20th century. Instead of adopting the determined narrative of a traditional documentary, the work blends diverging stories with a fever dream logic and reveals the murkier undercurrents of uncertainty and violence.
